Windows 10: Arkham Asylum Windows Feature problem

When I try to open Arkham Asylum, which I just got for free from Epic Games Store, it says "an app on your PC needs the following Windows Feature" however it does not allow me to install anything, the only options are to either close the window or click "Skip this Installation" because the "Install this Feature" does not activate on clicking. The window also says "Collecting Feature details" but I have had the window open for several minutes without even a sign of loading. I Really need help with this. Other games like Lego Batman(from Epic Games Store) work on my computer, but not this game. I already uninstalled and reinstalled the game four times.




I didn't know what this fell under in "Topics" so I put "Install & upgrade"

It may be an issue with the file launching correctly, in this case I would suggest trying to set the file to run in a different compatibility setting.

To do this please find the bmlauncher.exe file

(C:\Program Files (x86)\Eidos\Batman Arkham Asylum\Binaries) >Right click>Compatibility>check 'run in compatibility mode for' Windows XP SP3

Once you have done this, please try to run it again to see if this has fixed the error.

DirectX, Windows 10, Batman: Arkham Asylum

Hi, yesterday a friend bought me Batman: Arkham Asylum on Steam. So when I launched it, it did the usual update/check of my drivers. Then it crashed and gave me an error message: "Continue" or "Close." It also said that if i pressed "Continue" the game might
not function properly, and if I pressed "Close," it would shut down the game. I pressed Continue, and the game menu popped up, except without any letters on the buttons. I guessed where the "Play" button was and clicked, the game then crashed and gave a final
error message. I went onto the Steam forums, and I wasn't the only one who had this problem. Someone in the comments said that one had to install the last DirectX version or install physxloader.dll into C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Batman
Arkham Asylum GOTY\Binaries.

I tried to find how to install directx but i can't find any official website that just has a FLIPPING download button! Please Help!

PS. I am reinstalling the game now, and i will update if I forgot anything significant.

Hello! I recently purchased a DVD copy of Batman: Arkham Asylum for PC (Games for Windows LIVE). I've installed the game, so naturally I press "Play Game". After I press "Play Game" it gives me this following error:

"ShippingPC-BmGame.exe - Ordinal Not Found

The ordinal 43 could not be located in the dynamic link library

C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\xlive.dll."

If anyone knows how to resolve this issue, please reply, have a good day.
