Windows 10: As an app developer, I am no longer able to download and install test or flighted apps from...

I am no longer able to download my flighted apps from the Microsoft store. I have a Microsoft Store developer account, and I develop apps and publish them to the store. Prior to releasing them to the public, I publish them as private, flighted apps. As of a few days ago, I can no download an app using the Product identity tab. Depending on the link I use, the error message is either "Try that again. Page could not be loaded. Please try later" and the code at the bottom of the page is: Code: 0x80131500. Using one of the other links, the error message is "We are sorry, the page you requested cannot be found. The URL may be misspelled or the page you're looking for is no longer available." These apps have been in the store several days, hence the links should be valid by now.


I can download any of the apps that I have developed and published with Public availability. The issue is related to failure to download private flighted apps only

How to make patch-able apps

because the installer is a seperate exe.

crude way of doing it, your app checks a file online for latest version of your app and compares it to the version number running, if update is need your app downloads the update installer, once the update has finished downloading your app runs the update installer and closes your main app. update installer runs all updated restart your app.
