Windows 10: Aspire V3-575T Signature Edition - Display Adapters Missing From Device Manager with or...

I noticed my computer starting to underperform running inpractically slowly and reaction times were horrible until eventually the game would just crash when bringing up a new window, while playing high speed and graphics consuming games like the sims or even just when watching movies. Went to check on my display adapters to find that my adapters were totally missing from my Device Manager. How do I get my drivers back? How do I find out what happened to them?

Network adapter missing from device manager Acer Aspire E1-570

Hi,

in morning i had left my PC in perfectly working condition but in the evening when i checked my wifi router was blasted (don't know why) & i had missing wifi & network adapters under device manager.

I have solved wifi issue by installing acer support drivers hence my internet connectivity is back but i am not able to use ethernet port.

You say you added the legacy hardware for your display adapter, how old roughly is your laptop?

What is the Model No. of your Aspire - that will be printed on a sticker on the underneath bottom casing

Open Device Manager (accessible by right clicking your Start Button)

Expand the Display Adapters section

What video device is listed there?

 

Display driver not supporting and device manager not showing Display adapter option

This issue could have occurred due to these reasons:

• Incorrect settings.
• Corrupt or outdated display driver.

Try the steps listed here and check if it helps:

Method 1:

I suggest you to download and install all the available Windows Updates including Optional Updates. Check if it helps.

Method 2:

If the issue persists, i suggest you to uninstall and re-install latest display driver from the computer manufacturer website and check if it helps.

Step 1: Uninstall display driver.

• Right-click on the Start Button and click on
  Device manager.
• Double-click on Display Adapters to expand.
• Right-click on the display adapter driver that is listed and select properties.
• In the window opened, click on drivers tab.
• In the drivers tab, Click on Uninstall option.

Now restart your computer and check, if the problem persists try step 2.

Step 2:

Re-install display driver from the manufacturer website.
