Windows 10: Asus Fingerprint Problem after updating windows 10 Build 19042

After updating Windows 10 on Asus UX331UN fingerprint doesn't work anymore

in device manger don't show any problem

but when i trying to add a fingerprint or using them to unlock labtop it don't do anything



the solutions i try:

-Install last version of driver 1

-unistall and install driver

-troubleshooting with windows tools



after doing all of them the fingerprint doesn't work

Word is that Microsoft will introduce fingerprint support in Windows 8.1, but the company has remained completely tight-lipped on the feature lineup of its next OS.

A new screenshot that reached the web a few hours ago reveals that Microsoft is indeed working on fingerprint authentication for Windows 8.1, even though it’s not yet clear if such an option would also be available in the stable build of the OS or not.

According to WinBeta.org, fingerprint support has been spotted in a recently-leaked development build of Windows 8.1, so chances are that it’s actually the preview version to be released in June.

As you most likely heard, Microsoft would unveil the first public beta of the Windows 8 update next month at the BUILD developer conference, while the stable release is expected later this year.

Problem with Windows 10 update

interesting, I think we will be holding fire on that particular update for a while yet then.

If it doesn't affect anything else, I'll start with what zbook says, it will have to be in stages though. Tonight I'll run the RAM check, and hopefully tomorrow I'll check all drives (check what exactly ?), and backup important files (what files are those, do you mean photos, mp3, personal files etc ?) . I've got plenty of flash drives, but I'll get the first 3 steps done first.
