Windows 10: Asus keyboard not working after updates

My ASUS laptop ROG 752vm was away for couple of weeks. When i got it back yesterday i turned it on all worked fine and it started to update.

After the update my keyboard isn't working anymore, accept for the fn buttons.


My usb mouse is working and so is an usb keyboard i connecte to my noteook.


I tried to remove KB 4339420 but i don't seem to be able to remove it.


I removed the drivers and reinstalled them. I used Driver Booster and Asus Live Update to update my drivers but that didn't solve the problem. Also i tried to let Windows find the right drivers.


Does anyone have an idea how to solve this.


I have windows 10 64 bit home edition

Have you tried updating
your mouse and keyboard driver? If not, we suggest you to do so. There is a possibility that the driver is not compatible with the new Windows 10 update. However, one
of the workarounds that we suggest for your mouse and keyboard to work is to update the driver. If the symptom persist, you can run the Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter. To run the Troubleshooter, follow these steps:

  On your search bar, type
  Troubleshooting.

  Change the view to
  View all.
  
• 
  Choose
  Hardware and Devices
  and run the troubleshooter.

Method 1: Troubleshoot

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with hardware and devices. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your mouse. Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel
• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons
• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel
• Run the Hardware and devices troubleshooter

Method 2.

Try updating the latest keyboard devices from the manufacturer's website and check if the issue persists.

Follow the steps to update the Keyboard drivers:

a. Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.

b. Expand the Keyboard driver.

c. Right-click on the HID Keyboard Device and click on Update driver software.

d. Restart the computer and check.
