Windows 10: ASUS Keyboard not working properly in Windows 10

I had a keyboard gone crazy, mixing the letters and some not working.

Windows said the latest driver was already installed

I went to devices and uninstalled the problematic keyboard. Then disconnected the keyboard is a detachable laptop and re-connected it. Windows sent the message "Last USB device connected didn't work properly and not recognized by windows"

I restarted the computer, but same message appears.

How can I install the keyboard again?

Suggest you to plug in an external keyboard to check if that helps.

Follow these steps to launch the On-screen keyboard:

• 
  Press Windows key + R to get the run window.
  
• 
  Type “osk” and hit enter to launch the On-screen keyboard and check if this helps.

First of all, I would suggest you to install all the latest updates released by Microsoft from Windows Updates and check if that helps or not. And to update your drivers, please follow the steps and let us know if it helps fixing the issue or not:

• Click on Device Manager.
• In Device Manager, locate Keyboard and double-click to check if it’s working properly.
• Go to Driver tab, then click on Update Driver. And follow the instructions.

As per your issue description, I would suggest you to connect a different keyboard and check if the issue persists or not. And also try updating your drivers, please follow the steps and let us know if it helps fixing the issue or not:

Open Device Manager by pressing Windows key + X, click on

• Click on Device Manager.
• In Device Manager, locate Network adapters and double-click to check if it’s working properly.
• Go to Driver tab, then click on Update Driver. And follow the instructions.

If there are other drivers showing with exclamation mark, update them using the same steps from above.
