Windows 10: Asus laptop webcam picture upside down after windows 10 upgrade

    I have a USB 2.0 UVC camera on my ASUS laptop. After a windows 10 upgrade the camera image is upside down. There is no option in the Windows camera app to rotate it. I tried downloading the old driver from ASUS, but would not let me update it. It says I have the latest driver. Contact Asus and will not create new driver for it since it is an older laptop. Since Windows 10 update cause it why would windows not have a driver that works? How can I correct the problem?

    HI. I have a ASUS N61J series laptop, recently upgraded to Windows 10 from Windows 7. Webcam picture is upside down since then. I can see that Windows 10 removed my original ASUS Virtual Camera driver to USB Camera driver. I tried updating the driver -
    the system has confirmed that the driver is up to date. How can I resolve this Windows 10 issue? I checked ASUS support website but could not find any help.

    Thank you for your information - I will also try it.

    However, my ASUS Notebook K70AE is from 2010 and the latest driver version on ASUS homepage is for Windows 7 (nothing for Windows 8 or 8.1), se the link below

    It will be interesting to see if it's possible to download a driver from Windows 7 in Windows 10 compatibility mode.

    For your information Windows 10 works very well on my computer with 4 GB Memory and 280 GB harddisk - it's like a new computer. So the only drawback is the upside down web camera picture with the Microsoft driver "USB2.0 1.3M UVC WebCam.

    I hope it will be possible to download the ASUS Windows 7 driver in Windows 10 compatibility mode.

    Now I have tried it, but it was not possible to install the ASUS Windows 7 driver which is from 2009.

    Probably I have to live with the upside down web camera picture and the new windows driver "USB2.0 1.3M UVC WebCam. I hope it will be updated some time in the future.

    One question, did you just run vsnp2uvc.exe or did you install the driver another way? I too have the Asus K52F with upside down Skype.
