Windows 10: ASUS Q525UA notebook can not full screen using F11 key, so how then?

ASUS Q525UA 15.6 inch (2 TB, Intel Core i7 8th Gen., 1.80 GHz, 16 GB) Laptop - Black - Q525UA-BI7T9

F11 key normally fullscreen Chrome etc...But notebook PC function keys are different. F11 controls the chrome sound level. FUNC + F11 also controls the sound level with a different looking panel.

How can I full screen then?

• What is the Windows 10 version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the make and model of the PC?
  
• Did you try F11 along with FN key on the keyboard?
  
• Was there a major change or an update on your system, prior to which you weren't facing this issue?
  
• Are you trying to use F11 for full screen function or any other function?

However, we would suggest you to perform these steps.



Uninstall and Reinstall the drivers.

1. Press Windows + X, select
   Device Manager.
   
2. Expand Keyboard device.
   
3. Right click on all the listed devices, then select
   Uninstall device.
   
4. Check the box beside Delete the driver software for this device.
   
5. Click Ok and restart the PC.
   
6. Then check you still have the issue.

Hi some of my keys are not working on my asus notebook x550c so i bought a bluetooth keyboard but i cant connect it ive tried things that have been suggested on the web but cant seem to find bluetooth button and its not recognising the device i have updated
windows driver and tried pressing fn+f2

Hello,

I have a Asus Notebook using Windows 10.

Okay, when I press FN and f11, it turns down the volume.

When I press just f11, the screen goes in full screen.

Well, what I'm wanting to do is JUST press f11 to turn down the volume - instead of using FN.

And press FN and f11 to make the screen go in full screen.

Basically, how do I change the FN key around a bit?
