Windows 10: Asus X512JA - Clean Windows 10 - 2004 Install

Hi everyone,

I am facing one of those idiot issues with my laptop where I cannot install Windows 10 on a brand new laptop VivoBook X512J.

The issue can be seen in this video made with my phone, sorry for the quality VID_20200924_092330.mp4 - Google Drive

As you can see from the video I tried to install the latest Intel Rapid Storage drivers but he doesn't like.

Also I tried to install the drivers for the SSD drive from Intel, again .. without success Shared album - Mihail Lazar - Google Photos

The Secure Boot is enabled in BIOS, UEFI is enabled because is booting the USB drive of Windows 10 and AHCI been enabled in order to see the SSD drive,

What is funny is that in command prompt under troubleshooting section I was able to see the SSD drive in diskpart and was able to format it and create partition. I even create a test folder in it. In the video above when you see C drive is the actual 512 GB drive. The drive model is intel ssdpeknw512g8

Did anyone had this issue? And how to solve this, I tried already like 15 types of Intel rapid storage drivers but without success.

Clean Install Workaround for Vista

You may remember this news story on techPowerUp! a couple of days ago relating to the lack of clean installs when using the Upgrade Editions of Vista, which required an old OS to be installed. However, Paul Thurrott has managed to find a workaround for this issue, which ironically lets users do a clean install Vista without any previous version of Windows, albeit a little tedious. Here are the steps:

• Boot from the Windows Vista Upgrade DVD as normal
• When prompted for a product code, leave this blank
• Select the version of Vista you have purchased and let Vista install
• When you boot to your desktop for the first time, run the Vista setup from Windows
• This time enter your product key
• When asked whether you want to do an Upgrade of Custom install, select custom and choose a clean install
• Windows will now install for a second time and you should be able to activate it

Remember, these steps are only advised for use in order to achieve a clean install of Vista, it is only legal to use the upgrade editions if you have previously purchased the appropriate version of Windows.

Clean Windows 10 (?PRO?) install

I have bought a legit "Windows 10 Pro" key of a key website. It is legit since i'm currently using it for over a year now. I currently have Windows 10 Pro installed on my PC and I want to do a clean install. I just can't find the windows 10 Pro download in the tool. But if i could use a windows 10 pro key with a normal windows 10 install, I'll be good to go.
