Windows 10: Asus Xonar DGX sound card

Hello, I am having a problem with installation of my sound card software since device manager is not listing it. I have win version 1909, OS build 18363.959. Thanks!

ASUS Xonar DGX Sound card microphone does not work after Win10

Hi,

I have not been able to get my asus xonar dgx microphone to work after windows 10 upgrade. I have used unofficial drivers (maxed tech) so far and they give me audio but no microphone.

Here is the Trouble shooting I have done

1) Yes it is a default device, I open up recording devices and this is what I see

I right click MICROPHONE and it is the default device

2) Yes I have uninstalled the drivers and attempted to windows update and manually update from device manager - no driver can be found

3) Yes I have physically tested the microphones and used them on different computers, they work

ASUS Xonar Sound cards

im using Uni Xonar drivers in Win 10 and it works fine (albeit it lost the sound card in device manager with build 10122; a reinstall of drivers got it working again)

Use now ASUS XONAR DGX

Bought recently a new card but freezes in a different period of time:
Windows 10 x64, Xonar DGX, driver v1.81a r2, Windows 1803.
Conditions at the moment:

1. Realtek turned off in BIOS
   
2. All other sound devices turned off in Windows control panel.
   
3. No "Dolby access" or "Dolby Atmos" installed.
   
4. Sound volume is at 76.
   

But, anyway, after all these manipulations the Sound worked for about an hour and got frozen, all media stopped working. The sound appears only after a PC restart.

Could you advise anything on the subject for a stable system work without any headache? Cause it`s really mind-blasting. Tried earlier driver versions – the situation is even worse.
