  1. Attempting to copy

I am NOT computer literate, so bear with me, explaining in elementary terms. This is a work computer, Windows 10. The night of July 29, my computer downloaded a huge update to the system. Yesterday, I read thru all the "new" things, and didn't change any settings (that I know of) other than making my mouse pointer bigger and colored. Later in the day, I needed to copy a folder of documents to a newly created folder so I could then copy them to a CD. I right clicked on the Windows symbol in the lower left corner, and then clicked on File Explorer. This is how I always access our company files. I worked my way to where I needed to be, created the new folder, right clicked on the files I wanted to copy, and File Explorer closed. I attempted this about 7 times, and each time, File Explorer would close. I restarted my computer, but that didn't help. I tried again on a completely different client file, and the same thing happened. If I right click on a document or file to change the name, that can be accomplished. But I cannot move or copy files/folders. Any ideas?

    :)

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
    a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
    b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.
