Windows 10: Attempting to Dual Boot Windows 7 On My Windows 10 Machine, Get an Error Instead

Hello! This is my first time posting on the Microsoft forums, and I need your help. I have been attempting to dual-boot Windows 7 Ultimate with Windows 10 Home, I did a bit of research, and found that I needed an ISO file of sorts. I got the file in question from this website.


After downloading, I put it onto a 64GB Cruzer Glide USB and made it bootable via Windows 7 Bootable USB Drive maker, a Microsoft program that I downloadedhere.


After running and having to install bootsect.exe from a shady website, I was able to get it working. I copied the files onto the USB device and ran the program. Upon running, it takes me through the motions of downloading Windows 7 Ultimate. I get all the way through setup with Windows 10 running in the background until I need to restart my PC. I am greeted by Windows Boot Manager, prompting me to finish setting up Windows 7 Ultimate. Upon hitting enter, I get an error screen



I don't have an installation disc, so I can't re-insert it. Pressing F8 results in the same screen being displayed. I can still boot into Windows 10, but upon entering the desktop, I see a pop-up telling me that the installation could not be completed. Any fixes or solutions to this problem? If not, is there a way to disable to dual-boot screen upon powering on my laptop?

Just remember if u want UEFI on Windows 10 u most have UEFI on your Windows 7 too if not u need to go change it in the bios everytime u want to go back to Windows 7.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

 

Dual boot Windows 7 with Vista problem!

I have windows 7 as my main OS and I am trying to install windows vista on it own partition for a dual boot configuration but when trying to install vista from my pen drive at the very beggining when starting to copying files it stops with this error: [0x0604ad] IBS Callback_CopySetupFiles:An error occurred while copying Setup files. Error code is [0x80070070][gle=0x00000070]

This stop error only shows up when installing vista from a pen drive! Using the Vista DVD it installs fine!

SO i wonder what is going on here? Seems installing vista from a pen drive to dual boot with windows 7 is not possible!

Only from DVD I can install vista for a dual boot configuration all is fine!

Can someone tell me what is the culprit here any experiences like this?
