    Sound cuts in and out - Hdmi only

    Completed a new build and a sound cuts in and out when connected to hdmi. Works fine with headphones. When sounds out the volume meter on the screen still works. I I have tried the following:

    1. Sound troubleshooter

    2. Updated drivers and tried generic drivers

    3. Uninstalled and reinstreins devices

    4. Turned off audia enhancements

    5. Changed windows sound settings

    6. Disabled sounds devices not in use

    7. Reinstalled windows

    Steps 1-6 above appear in various troubleshooting threads. I'm using Nvidia and Realtek drivers.
