    Audio channel swapping help


    Hello Reddit, I come seeking some assistance with the audio channels of my headset. I have recently purchased a new headset that on my phone has the correct audio channel input, but suddenly when I plug my headset into my PC, the audio channels left and rights get mixed up. Is there anyone who knows how to swap audio channels for a particular device/piece of hardware on Windows 10? Thanks!

    How to swap left and right audio channels

    My headset swaps the left and right audio channels. I used Equalizer APO previously but I had to reinstall Realtek due to some issues. When I tried doing the same fix again after reinstalling, it no longer works. Are there any other ways to swap the channels?
    Why doesn't windows have a built in setting for this? or is there any way to do it through Realtek? Using mono isn't an option for me since I work with sound a lot and need stereo.

    Make sure that headset 3.5mm plug is pushed all the way in

    Are you sure that you have the headset on the correct way round - I know this sounds like a stupid thing to suggest . .

    Windows by default does not allow swapping of left and right channels . . .

    What Audio icon do your see in your bottom right System tray, is that realtek or some other sound panel?

    What is the exact Make and Model of that headset?

    Good day Andre,

    My laptop is Acer Nitro AN515-52-77S4. I have tried reinstalling my audio driver. That is where the problem began. I think that it is a hardware issue with my headset. I fixed this problem by using Equalizer APO to swap the L R channels. After reinstalling
    my audio drivers, it no longer works.
