Windows 10: Audio input and output device uninstalled upon restart.

Current OS Version : Microsoft Windows Version 2004 (OS Build 20226.1000)

So after a recent windows update the sound driver in my Windows 10 got automatically uninstalled. And while attempting to make changes by adding a legacy hardware the OS crashed leading to a restart loop. As a result , I had to reset my PC and reinstall windows and then download the suitable audio driver and install it manually.

Now , the issue here is the time and again auto uninstallation. Every time I restart the PC it seems to uninstall 1.Audio input and output sound 2. Sound, video and game controllers properties from the device manager. So in order to cope with the issue , I have been reinstalling the driver upon every uninstallation caused by the restart . This does solve the problem but doesn't seem to be a feasible solution.

So yes any guideline on how to rightly fix the problem will be much appreciated

No audio input or output devices found

After the last update of Windows 10, no audio devices are listed

Searching in the device manager: all audio devices say it works fine

The sound setting says: no output or input devices were found.

 

No Audio Input or Output Devices found

Just gone in to safe mode - uninstalled drivers for audio devices - rebooted and re-installed drivers ..

rebooted again .. no change

Still reporting good audio drivers but no input or output Audio devices available

Looking in device manager - the audio devices all say working OK

But on bar at bottem of screen get speaker with red cross -- Playing audio - Audio trouble shouter cannot find any problems ..

Sound settings say - No output or Input devices found.

Have tried to re-install Realtek audio drivers for motherboard -- installed but no change
