Windows 10: Audio Issues

Hi,

I'm facing two issues currently. The first one being I have one speaker (left and right) and on headphone with mic. Now i constantly want to switch between them. I looked for hardware solution but didn find any. However after checking my PC, I found a set of analog port behind. I plugged in my speakers in the analog port and my headphone on the front port. However, I cant seem to stiwch between them as it does not detect two output. I was wondering if i can make both of them to output the same audio cause i can easily mute my speakers when i use my headphone.


The second issue is that now that I am manually switching between headphone and speaker when i do this switch in a game, I will not be able to have the sound for that game. however youtube will work just fine. A quick fix for me is to restart the game. however this is not practical.

Audio 'dip' issue with Windows 10

Method1: I suggest you to run an audio troubleshooter.

Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter to check and fix issues with Sound. I would suggest you to run this troubleshooter to check if the issue is with your Audio

Refer these steps:

• Press Windows key +X, select Control panel

• Change the view by option on the top right to Large icons

• Click on troubleshooting and click on the view all option on the left panel

• Run the playing Audio troubleshooter.



Method2: Uncheck the enhancement feature in sound options.

• Press X from the key board and select control panel.
• Select sounds under control panel.
• Go to advance setting and uncheck the enhancement feature and check if that helps.

• Type troubleshooting on the search box.
• Click View all.
• Select Recording Audio.
• Follow the steps to troubleshoot Recording Audio.
