Windows 10: Audio popping

I am having issues with the audio cutting in and out. It will cut off completely for a fraction of a second sometimes happening several times within a 2 second window. Sometimes it will make a crackling type sound but mainly just goes completely silent. I mainly use headphones via a usb cable but have also tried bluetooth speakers and the monitors built in speakers. Every output has the same result, audio cutting in and out. I have tried windows updates, restarting the pc, driver updates, etc... but have not cured the issue.


Is this a windows software problem or a problem with my PC?

must be a power issue, id suggest maybe googling it with your specific hardware even

Hi guys,

Anyone have any idea the main causes of popping crackling audio from on-board audio?
My computer has only just started doing this and it happens in both the front and back audio jacks with different headphones.
