Windows 10: Audio Stuttering with Brief 'No Sound' Indication on Windows Laptop

Hi everyone,I'm having a persistent audio issue with my Windows laptop and I'm hoping someone here can help me resolve it.Issue Description:Whenever I play any audio on my laptop, the sound drops out for about 1-2 seconds at a time. During these dropouts, the sound icon in the taskbar shows an 'X' mark, indicating "No Sound." The 'X' mark disappears as soon as the audio comes back. This cycle of audio dropping and returning continues throughout the duration of the audio playback. I have been experiencing this issue from last 2-3 days. This is a systemwide issue, the application does not matter

Audio stuttering after wake

Knowing that you have problems with your audio after waking up from sleep, you can try the following suggestions:



1. Check for Hardware Conflicts:

• Open Device Manager.
  
• Expand the “System devices” category.
  
• Look for any devices with yellow exclamation marks or error messages.
  
• If you find any conflicts, try disabling or uninstalling the conflicting devices.
  

2. Test with External Audio Device:

• Connect an external audio device, such as headphones or speakers, to the computer.
  
• If the audio stuttering persists, it suggests a problem with the Realtek audio device or its drivers.
  

3. Disable Audio Enhancements:

• Go to Control Panel > Sound.
  
• Select the Realtek audio device as the playback device.
  
• Click on the “Properties” button.
  
• Go to the “Enhancements” tab.
  
• Uncheck all the enhancement options.
  

If the above steps do not resolve the issue, contact Gigabyte support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or replace the audio device if necessary.

Windows 10 very brief audio stutter/buzzing/glitching everywhere

heres a fix I did to a bunch hope it helps you and here I did it step by step.
I discovered that it was the Audio Sample Bit Rate that was causing the stuttering. As soon as I set it to 24 bit the problem went away. I have done this on a number of laptops in our organization and it works every time.

Control Panel - Sound - Default Audio Device - Properties - Advanced - Change the Default format to 25 bit 96000 Hz (Studio Quality)

No Sound/Audio in Dell Laptop

Hello Guys, I have a relatively new laptop (7 months old) I did a windows update today and after that laptop audio says no audio hardware found. There is X symbol on audio in notification tray. I did the usual uninstall reinstall etc no use. I go to device manager and I don't see the sound tab to expand. Under system devices, there is a error for Intel Audio system Bus. when I right click sound and click playback, I don't see any devices listed either. What would be my next troubleshooting step, please help Thanks
