Hello all & everyone, I need your help that has been plaguing me for 2 weeks, and now am at a point of no return with important items I'm dealing with online. It's very damaging on all levels. What to do when all is exhausted?

Symptoms are as such; Win 10 tablet with keyboard is stuck on a few levels leaving me unable to proceed onward into OS system as follows:

    1) Boots up to my Win 10 Homepage, won't let me access ' Password ' page OR any of the f1 - f12 keys to repair and reset.

    2) As you know, after 3 sign-in times, Win 10 automatically goes into the ' Blue ' screen modes of repair, reset or reinstall options ie Cmd Prompt, PowerShell, etc. Problem here, none of the directional key stroke options don't work either on any level, stuck, upon stuck, corruption prevails all around.

    3) My intention was to run the USB ' MediaCreationTool.exe ' to repair all corruption but I cannot start the run w/o functioning directives access. I do not know how to get beyond this Ground Zero point?

I desperately need anyone's help directing me beyond this ' Stuck Position ' since I cannot find anything online. I was contemplating a fix via USB connecting a working Win 7 computer with my defunct Win 10 tablet, is that a possibility functional fix?

Please advise anything and remain well in peaceful balance to take good care of it all...james Tele: 928-600-1492 email: *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

    Emergency Alerts

    Hi Stephanie,

Just to confirm, is this the same thing that you tried on your phone, in order to turn off Amber Alerts?

    • Open Settings.
    • Tap on System.
    • Tap on Messaging.
    • Tap on the Change emergency alert settings link.
    • Turn on or off the emergency alerts you want.

Let us know if this was the same thing that you tried.

We would also suggest to reset your phone after doing these steps to ensure that the changes on your phone's settings will be refreshed.

Simply press and hold the Power and Volume down button for 15 seconds and then release your hold afterwards.

    Spoiler Office 2019
Last year at Ignite, we announced Office 2019 – the next perpetual version of Office that includes apps (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook, and Skype for Business) and servers (including Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business). Today we’re pleased to share the following updates:

    • Office 2019 will ship in H2 of 2018. Previews of the new apps and servers will start shipping in the second quarter of 2018.
    • Office 2019 apps will be supported on:
      • Any supported Windows 10 SAC release
      • Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC 2018
      • The next LTSC release of Windows Server
    • The Office 2019 client apps will be released with Click-to-Run installation technology only. We will not provide MSI as a deployment methodology for Office 2019 clients. We will continue to provide MSI for Office Server products.

a request for device descriptor request failed

Maybe it's time to step back from the current efforts, and start over. I suggest you read over this excellent tutorial and try all of its steps: [Solved] Unknown USB Device (Device Descriptor Request Failed) for Windows 10 - Driver Easy. The one that may provide you with some easy relief is the one where you uninstall the device whose descriptor is failing, reboot, and see what happens when device enumeration recurs during boot-up. If you're lucky, it will fix itself.
