  1. August 2018 update (1809)

    Hi,

after trying to install an update in 3DMark I discovered that I have somehow missed the August 2018 1809 update!

Windows update is telling me I am up to date, but I am currently on version 1803. I ran the update troubleshooter and it did say that it had found and fixed some errors, but this hasn't resolved my problem, and windows update is still telling me that I am up to date.

I searched the Microsoft website and found a download link, that will do a fresh install of windows 10 with the update included but this means I will either have to move all of my programs (which is difficult as I don't have enough storage space to do that), or just bite the bullet and then re-download/install them all again.

Surely there must be a way of sorting out windows update so that it recognizes that I am NOT up to date?

Any help is very much appreciated!

    :)

  2. Word no longer printing since August 2018

Since August 2018, MS Word does not print.... Vers. 2016 or 2003. If I make them a pdf, they print. Will not print as Word doc on network printer or on wired printer. I have uninstalled/re-installed printer and software, update drivers, cleared errors,
you name it...everything suggested in past posts on this topic. This seems to be a problem starting in August 2018 for many people. MS needs to look at whatever updates they did then.
