Windows 10: Auto brightness STILL changing when plugged in

Two months ago I raised https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/windows_11-other_settings/auto-brightness-when-plugged-in/5c67b839-9541-4a55-a4e0-98f7c2e145d3?messageId=9c5d8782-3160-4e80-a416-a11f1d15b64d&page=1 which had me repeat everything I've already done. Clearly not a driver issue if the troubleshooting/fixing of the driver hasn't worked after THREE attempts. I need a path to report this to Microsoft so that they can fix this stupidity. I am only able to use my laptop for 4 hours at a time, because the nature of the work I do on it drains the battery that fast. Then

Can't adjust brightness when the power plugged or unplugged

Hi there,

• Previous status:

brightness 100%, plugged in; brightness 50%, unplugged.

When I unplugged the laptop, the brightness will decrease down to 50%. And will increase back to 100% when the laptop plugged in back automatically.

• Current status:

Always keep the last brightness setting, no matter laptop plugged in or unplugged, the brightness doesn't change.

Is there any way to fix this problem? Thanks!

 

Brightness changes even with auto bright off Surface 6

I'm having a problem like the title says, while using my PC I can notice how it starts changing the screen brightness in a very annoying way, it's like it goes step by step changing it and it is really annoying. I have already disabled the auto brightness but got no luck. I also tried going into regedit and when I'm trying to go to this path:

I don't see that level, I have only until igfxcui. Could anyone please help me?
