Windows 10: Auto-hide taskbar working but most desktop icons disappeared

I had no problem to auto-hide taskbar on my desktop with Windows 10 PRO 64X ver. 1703 and to my surprise that most of my desktop icons disappeared. I don't want my desktop icons disapper on my monitor screen and how do I prevent them not to disappear even I move the slide to on for auto-hide taskbar in settings. Let me know about this.

Task-bar Doesn't Autohide on Windows 10

The taskbar was already set to auto-hide. I reset it again and it still doesn't work. My problem is that the taskbar doesn't disappear. I know that it reappears when I move the cursor over it, just the problem is that the taskbar doesn't
disappear in the first place.

However, it does disappear on my desktop PC, and my desktop PC is set to the same settings as my laptop.

Enabling the "volume" icon works for me, too. Now I can have the auto-hide taskbar enabled on desktop with the volume icon and no error message. Yay! Thanks to Bushnaq.
