    Auto start after power failure

I have been trying to determine if my version of Windows (1809) will do an auto-start after a power failure.

Most of the info I find tells me to access the UEFI settings, but for some reason I am unable to do that through the processes outlined. There's simply no option to select the UEFI settings.

I've also been through the BIOS settings but there simply isn't a option to Restore on AC/Power Loss.

    Any suggestions?

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    Auto start after power failure

to solve the auto power on problem

    Hi
    Adarsha,

Based on the details provided, were there any changes made before the issue occurred? It is possible that your power
settings were reconfigured. We recommend that you perform these troubleshooting and see if there are any changes:

    Disable fast startup.

To do this, follow these steps:

    • Right-click on the start menu and choose
      Control Panel.

    • Change
      "View by"
      from
      Category
      to
      Small icons.

    • Choose
      Power Options.

    • On the right side, click on
"Choose what the power buttons do".

    • Under
      Shutdown settings, uncheck the
      "Turn on fast startup".

Unmarked Automatic Restart in the System Settings.

To do this, follow these steps:

    • On the search bar, type
      View advanced
      system settings
      and hit
      Enter.

    • Under
      Advanced tab
      and
      Startup and Recovery, click on
      Settings.

    • Uncheck
      "Automatically Restart"
      and click
      OK.

Let us know how it goes.

    Regards.
