  1. Autocorrection by user dictionary

Hello. Can you please tell me how to make autocorrection in Windows so that not all possible variants of words from the dictionary are offered, but only those words that have already been used by me in a particular application?

That is, I want to create my own application-specific set of words that will be replenished when I use new words. And for the system to offer me autocorrection only from this set of words.

Add to the autocorrect dictionary, Windows 10 Mobile

    Hi Larry,

For possible resolution in adding word/s to the AutoCorrect dictionary, see the step/s below:

    • Go to <drive letter>:\Users\<account>\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Spelling\<language>\default.dic" and then type the word/s, and save it.

Let us know how it goes.

    Autocorrection by user dictionary

Add to the autocorrect dictionary, Windows 10.

I love the autocorrect feature, but I'm having some problems with it.

I want to add one specific word to the autocorrect dictionary; inFAMOUS, which is the name of a game series. The problem is, this is an actual word. Because it's an actual word, it autocorrects to 'infamous,' all lowercase.

I thought I could work around this, by turning autocorrect off and then when that word comes back as a misspelled word, I'd add it to the dictionary.

However, this didn't work, because even when turning autocorrect off via Devices -> Typing -> Autocorrect misspelled words OFF, Windows 10 still autocorrects every word that can be autocorrected.

Can anyone tell me how to add this particular word to the dictionary or tell me how to fix the problem I'm having with autocorrect?

    Thank you.
