Windows 10: Autofill address Mail for Windows 10

How does one delete an address from the autofill pop up from Mail for Windows 10 Version 16005.12430.20136.0. I have researched this problem for hours and have not found a solution. Many sites have suggested to start typing the name in the To: box and when the addresses appear to click the "X" to the right of the name. However an "X" does not appear to the right of the name in this version Please help.

Windows 10 is an operating system, not an E-Mail application.

You need to tell the forum which E-Mail application you are thinking of.

To delete the email address from the autofill in mail app you need to navigate to People app. In people app you will have to assign a fake account and link that account to the email is you are going to delete. Finally. delete the id which comes obviously

How to fix autofill in Windows 10 Mail App

Windows 10 - My Mail App is set up properly and sending and receiving email. The People App is set up properly and loaded with

Contacts with email addresses.

When I am in the Mail App and want to create a New mail + to send out and type in a Contact name in the TO: area that is in the People App, it does not pull up or autofill the desired email address.

I was told that the last update disabled or removed autofill feature and sometimes it works or does not work at all.

Is correct and/or do you know how to fix or correct autofill?
