Windows 10: Autohide Taskbar problem-Windows 11

Does the taskbar appear when you move the cursor over the notification area?, specifically over the date, battery status and Wi-Fi symbol? Because I'm having this problem where by the taskbar does not show when I move the cursor over the above said area and I usually use the autohide taskbar setting.It seems like it doesn't work on the far right but starts showing where the taskbar corner overflow starts all the way to the far left-so the problem is from the taskbar corner overflow to the far right.

chrome + taskbar autohide problem

So i set my taskbar autohide. whenever chrome is in fullscreen, when i hover around the corner, the taskbar wont appear. It works with other browsers....

 

Autohide Taskbar in Desktop Mode

In rare cases, you may be having an issue with Autohide Taskbar in desktop mode when you when you just recently did an upgrade on your PC. Autohide Taskbar Option might have got unchecked during the process. We would suggest you try the following steps to enable
Autohide taskbar and check if it makes any difference.

a. Right-click on the Taskbar.

b. Click on Properties.

c. Put a check mark next to ‘Auto-hide’ the taskbar.

d. Click on Apply and OK.

Taskbar Autohide Issue

Upgraded from W8.1 on a Dell laptop and a Mac running Bootcamp. Everything works so far except the taskbar will no longer autohide on both machines. It is always visible even though its Properties shows Autohide checked. I tried toggling the setting off,
then Apply, then OK, then shutting/reopening the Properties window, and rechecking autohide. No joy.

On the Dell I hid the notification icons one by one until I hid the "Dell Audio" icon. The problem went away.

I tried a similar process on the Mac but the taskbar still refuses to autohide, so there may be more than one cause for this issue.
