Convert an ESD File to a WIM File for Driver Updates in Your Windows...

You can create a .WIM from a .ESD file...

10.0.15063.0 is the Creator's build. The current build is 6 months + a few on from that.
That build number also means no updates have been applied.

Did you disable updates at any point?

If needed, it's possible to get an iso for the creator's build 15063, but not using the media creation tool.

  2. Hi @dalchina

Op can also use install.esd image file with Dism command no need for conversion.

    I ran
Code: dism /get-wiminfo /wimfile:install.esd[/quote] and it shows the version is 10.0.10240.16384, which is a different version from my current os.
So I can't use it as a source, correct? I need the same version install.wim as my current os, yes?

I have not disabled updating, in fact this particular computer seems to update more frequently than the others we have.
It belongs to a 12 year old girl that pretty much just surfs in edge and plays a few game, I don't think there is anything nefarious going on

  5. I agree with @dalchina, you should backup your personal files and clean install Windows 10.

I have tried a few times to reset pc and not save any files and start new, but it fails.
I will check the link you have above and see if I can do it that way
    thank you for your help!

Edit: we updated this computer from Win8, how do I find my product key?

There is no product key: activation should be automatic.

    1) Please update the specs in the "My Computer" section:

System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums:
System Specs - Fill in at Ten Forums Site Use Tutorials
In the left corner below in your post you find 'My System Specs'.
After clicking it you can find a link a little below that says 'Update your System Spec', click on this link to get to the page where you can fill in your system specs.
System Info - See Your System Specs - Windows 7 Help Forums

Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, etc.)

The CBS log reported component store corruption.
It had attempted to repair the corruption and failed:
Code: 2018-02-03 21:01:19, Info CBS Exec: Processing complete, session(Corruption Repairing): 30645604_1296007391 [HRESULT = 0x80070013 - ERROR_WRITE_PROTECT]2018-02-03 21:01:19, Info CBS Exec: Installation fails with store corruption, automatic store corruption repair is attempted, result: 0x800700132018-02-03 21:01:19, Error CBS Failed to process single phase execution. 2) For all steps using the windows advanced troubleshooting menu please use a camera or smart phone camera to take pictures and post images into the thread.

    3) See what happens if you run the dism revertpendingaction command.
    4) Are you able to backup the important files?
    5) Another option to back up files is a hard drive enclosure > move the files from problematic computer drive to another computer drive or to the cloud.
    6) Earlier in the thread it was reported that there were problems with reset and remove files.
This is similar to a clean install.
Was the problem with both reset and save files and with reset and remove files?
Please run this command again and use a camera to post images of the error message and error code.
