  1. Automatic Repair Loop, Cannot Startup PC

Hi, I'm using windows 10 and I experienced a problem that prevents my PC to startup or open to desktop. There is no way or any option that will make me even boot it to safe mode or anything.

Most of the same cases I've read on the internet have the automatic repair loop but once they do restart they are mostly given a set of options that could help them open the PC to desktop. Mine does not.

First, when I open the PC, it goes on to tell me if I want to skip disk checking by pressing any button. I tried it but then afterwards as it seems like it will startup to desktop, it gives me a message that says "Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We're just collecting some error info, and then we'll restart for you." So afterwards, my PC did restart but this time it just goes on to the automatic disk repair immediately without giving me a chance to skip it by pressing any button. So I have no choice but to do the disk repair. Then, when I do restart it myself by doing a hard press or hard reboot, it goes on to the first thing again which tells me if I want to skip the disk checking and with the your PC ran into a problem thing. So basically, it gives me no choice but to keep restarting it or else I'll have the never ending disk repair, no any chance to boot the PC to desktop or even safe mode.

Is there any chance that I could still boot the PC to desktop? Or the hard drive is already the problem here?
I suspect it is because also, another thing, when I boot my PC it says

    S. M. A. R. T status bad, press F1 to resume

Is there a way to fix this temporarily? Because there's no pc repair here in our area nor any person who could help me through booting a flash drive.

Sorry for my English as it is not my first language.

    :)

  2. Automatic Repair Loop

    Hi Charlene,

Your concern regarding the device going into an Automatic Repair Loop can be caused by change on its settings/configuration or broken system files. To effectively assist you with your concern, can confirm if you've made any changes on your device prior to
    your concern?

As an initial step to get back into the normal Windows screen, we suggest that you perform a
Startup repair. The repair will attempt to fix any broken components/files which may prevent your device from booting properly. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • On theAutomatic Repair screen, select Advanced options.
    • Select Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced options.
    • Select Startup Repair.

We'll appreciate if you can send us an update.

    Automatic repair loop

Hi there, thanks for your question.

Here are the steps I generally recommend to fix automatic repair boot loops:

    Use Check Disk Utility

Fix Boot and Rebuild BCD via Command Prompt

    Restore Windows Registry

    Delete the Problematic File

    Disable Automatic Startup Repair

    Check Device Partition and OsdevicePartition

Perform Refresh or Reset Your PC

These steps are listed in detail with instructions in the below article:

If you're still experiencing issues after these steps, please let me know and I'll see what else we can try! Thanks!
