    Automatic Repair Loop


    Can someone please help me. My laptop is stuck in automatic repair loop.


    I have a Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Windows 10. It was working alright this morning until I turn it off then tryed to turn it back on. It was really slow starting up and when it did a message come up saying critical error your start menu isn't working, we'll try to fix it the next time you sign in. So I restarted and closed my laptop a few times and after reading posts I tryed to do a restore from a system restore point. Which froze on me so I turned my laptop off and started it back up but now it's just in automatic repair loop. I've tryed to reset it but it won't let me, I've tryed to put it in safe mode and it does nothing, I've tryed pressing repair and it won't.


    Please can someone help thank you

    Your concern regarding the device going into an Automatic Repair Loop can be caused by change on its settings/configuration or broken system files. To effectively assist you with your concern, can confirm if you've made any changes on your device prior to
    your concern?

    As an initial step to get back into the normal Windows screen, we suggest that you perform a
    Startup repair. The repair will attempt to fix any broken components/files which may prevent your device from booting properly. To do this, follow the steps below:

    • On theAutomatic Repair screen, select Advanced options.
    • Select Troubleshoot.
    • Select Advanced options.
    • Select Startup Repair.

    We'll appreciate if you can send us an update.
