    Automatic Repair

I need some help with my PC. I believe my problem is a Microsoft problem and maybe a HP one also. I will make this same post on the HP community web site. It all stared when I began having problems with being prompted to allow Flash Player to run.

    I'm using an HP h-8 1208 PC with Intel I-7, 3.62ghz, 12gb ram, 1tb hdd.

Yesterday, I was experiencing some problems and decided to do a restore to an earlier time. Started the process and left for a minute or two. When I came back, my screen had a lot of strings with them saying "press any key to continue". I pressed enter several times but nothing happened. So, I unplugged the computer then replugged it in. After a few minutes, "Preparing Automatic Repair" came up. Then, "Diagnosing Your PC". After that, it said Automatic Repair and below that your PC did not start correctly, with two buttons - Restart and Advanced Options. Click on Restart and the whole process repeated. Clicked on Advanced options, and 4 options. Clicked on Continue Exit and continue to Windows 10. Clicked on that - same thing. Clicked on Troubleshoot. Reset this PC and there was a problem resetting your PC. When I click on Advanced options, none of them work except the Command Prompt. When I click on that, Awhat comes up is

    "Microsoft Windows (Version 10.0.17763.253)

    (C) 2018 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved

    X: \Windows\system32>

I then used the HP restore discs to restore to factory settings. After the 1st disc loaded, it asked for the Supplemental Disc. Loaded it and after it loaded, it said the hard drive is smaller than the one that shipped with the discs. Apparently HP gave me the wrong discs, so I'm not able to do a factory restoral.

Is there something I can type in the Command Prompt to get my compute back? I don't want to trash it as it has served me well.

    Any help appreciated.

    :)
