Windows 10: Automatically Adjust for DST problem

Discus and support Automatically Adjust for DST problem in Windows 10 Ask Insider to solve the problem; Automatically Adjust for DST suddenly not working today and I had to disable it.     Automatically Adjust for DST problem


    Automatically Adjust for DST suddenly not working today and I had to disable it. This happened on my two win 10 machines. Anyone else seeing this issue?

    Streaming video, sound adjust automatically

    Hi Dannowa12,

    Corrupted or outdated drivers may be the possible reason why the sound adjusted automatically. To efficiently assist you, kindly answer the following questions below:

    • Have you made any recent changes prior to this issue?
    • Which build and version of Windows 10 are you using?
    • Does this happen only when streaming videos?

    In the meantime, I suggest you follow these methods to troubleshoot your laptop:

    Method 1: Run Hardware and Devices Troubleshooter

    Follow the steps below:

    • Press Windows key + X and select Control Panel.
    • Change View by from Category to Small Icons/Large Icons.
    • Click on Troubleshooting.
    • Select Hardware and Devices and follow the on-screen instructions.

    Method 2: I suggest that you follow the steps in this
    article     on how to troubleshoot sound problems.

    Automatically Adjust for DST problem

    laptop doesnt boot automatically

    This is what happened.

    1. Did a repair install and later disabled hibertnate in CMD.
    2. Enabled legacy option ROM in BIOS.
    3. After a few times startup ( i used the system in such mode for 5 days), changed boot option back to default.
    4. Vola!! It boots automatically to win10 without any keypress. Tested it with many starts to confirm the same.
    5. Re-enabled hibernate option using CMD and later selected Fast Startup.
    6. System booted normally, without the need for any keypress.

    I do not know exactly whether such steps resolved the problem or what else happened, hence cannot suggest above steps.

    Many thanks to all members who helped to troubleshoot problems.
