I am automatically signed out of every service on my laptop as soon as I close the application. These include - Microsoft teams, Microsoft Edge, Microsoft edge PWA's, Office 365 apps, Vivaldi browser and certain games.

Also, I set a pin as my laptop security - every few days or so the pin just disappears and I have to use my laptop password to sign in. I constantly ensure that I keep my system and apps updated. I've also thoroughly gone through settings. There are no malicious apps or viruses on my system. Please help.

In short - I keep getting automatically signed out of everything on my laptop. And my laptop pin gets disabled automatically.

    Thanks in Advance

    :)

    Resolution Suggestion:

    # To resolve this problem, make sure that BITS and the Automatic Updates service are started..

A simple solution but one that works in most circumstances!

    1. Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    2. In the list of services, right-click Automatic Updates, and then click Properties.

    3. In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.

    4. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    5. Right-click Background Intelligent Transfer Service, and then click Properties.

    6. In the Startup type list, click Manual, and then click Apply.

    7. If Service status is set to Stopped, click Start, and then click OK.

    Disable Sign In PIN

    Hello,

You can also disable PIN using registry. Try these steps:

    1. Open Registry Editor.
    2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\System.
    3. Set AllowDomainPINLogon to 0.
    4. Close Registry Editor and reboot your system.

    Hope this helps!
