Windows 10: Automatically Rotate Lock Screen/Sign In Without Windows Spotlight

There are plenty of how to's showing the procedure using Windows Spotlight but I do not want to use that nor do I want a slide show and in addition I would prefer not to install any software that would accomplish this although a completely self sustained portable app would be acceptable. My lock screen option looks like this and I would like to keep it this way the only change being the lock screen/sign in picture would change each day from a selection of pictures from a folder of my choosing. TIA.

• Right-click on the desktop and open Personalize.
• Open Lock Screen tab.
• Under Background, switch from Windows Spotlight to a Picture or the Slideshow.
• Click OK and close the Window.
• Now Log off and log in.
• Navigate to Lock screen and enable Windows Spotlight again.
