Windows 10: AZ login sign in window for microsoft login opens behind all the windows and that window...

When I run this command AZ login in terminal, it's supposed to open a first window for me to either select any already signed-in account or give me option to sign-in with either personal Microsoft account or a corporate Microsoft account, and when I select Personal Microsoft account sign-in, it is supposed to open a second window with Microsoft login so that I can enter my Id passwords, MFA etc.The problem is the second window opens behind all the windows and that window doesn't even show up in the taskbar and I keep waiting for the sign-in window.

Using login credentials is best practice, and is going to be more and more among the norms. You can bypass needing a password if you're NOT using a Microsoft account. But if you are, that's an online linked account...wouldn't make any sense to be able to automatically login to a sync'd account without credentials would it?

If you're using local accounts or non-domain accounts, you don't need to have a password to login. See link above, you'll be able to make the changes you need by following that, in a few minutes your frustrations will be gone. *Toast :toast:

 

Windows Login fail

The system BSODed once and since then whenever it starts I get the error code

It start in safe mode
It BSOD's again if I start with "Restore previous..."
I've also tried changing the login screen from welcome screen to classic.

Word is that Microsoft will introduce fingerprint support in Windows 8.1, but the company has remained completely tight-lipped on the feature lineup of its next OS.

A new screenshot that reached the web a few hours ago reveals that Microsoft is indeed working on fingerprint authentication for Windows 8.1, even though it’s not yet clear if such an option would also be available in the stable build of the OS or not.

According to WinBeta.org, fingerprint support has been spotted in a recently-leaked development build of Windows 8.1, so chances are that it’s actually the preview version to be released in June.

As you most likely heard, Microsoft would unveil the first public beta of the Windows 8 update next month at the BUILD developer conference, while the stable release is expected later this year.
