Windows 10: Back-up and Restore Windows 7 not working - error code 0x80070005

I'm trying to make a backup of my system to a dedicated backup drive I have connected. I can go through the process of setting it up, but when I click 'Save setting and run backup', I get an error message saying that I don't have access, whatever that means. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Trying to download windows 10 to a media device (USB) for installation on another PC and keep getting this error. Am wondering if I should be following the steps suggested for error code: 0x80070005-0xA0019 ?
