Windows 10: Background scrolling setting

Hello there

I was enjoying a nice background/wallpaper of my own choosing, but how do I go back to the Windows 10 default?

It was a bunch of stock photos of nature, destinations, and more. You know...default.


I can see the images under background settings...but will they automatically start shifting if left there?

We understand that you don't want some apps to run on the background of your computer. What we suggest is to
control which apps are allowed to run in the background. To see which apps have permission, just follow the below steps:

• Open the Start menu or Start screen and select “Settings.”
• Click or tap the “Privacy” icon in the Settings.
• Scroll down to the bottom of the list and select “Background apps.”
  
• You’ll see a list of apps that have permission to run in the background with an “On/Off” toggle.

Just bear in mind that, apps normally run in the background to update their live tiles, download new data, and receive notifications. If you want an app to continue performing these functions, you should allow it to continue running in
the background.

Set background slideshow

I suggest you to follow the steps provided below to set slide desktop.

• Press Windows logo key + I key.
• Click on Personalization.
• Under Background dropdown menu, select slideshow.
• Click on Browse button and then select the folder from which the desktop slide’s to be applied.

personalising background pictures

Follow these steps:

• Go to Settings,
• Click Personalization
• Highlight Background and scroll down toward the bottom and click Browse.
• Select the picture or photo to set as background.
