    Background Task Host crashes with Microsoft Wallet twice daily


    I get the following entries in Reliability monitor twice daily at around 07:05 and 07:50 Seems to be connected to Microsoft Wallet, which I have never used. It has just happened since the upgrade to 1903.

    It doesn't seen to be having any adverse effect, just annoying.

    Have tried both SFC and Dism which came up clean.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated.

    Background Task Host crashes with Microsoft Wallet twice daily

    Task Host is stopping background task

    Recently, using Windows 10, when I power off I get the Task Host Window.

    Message: Task Host is stopping background task (\Microsoft\Windows\DeviceDirectoryClient\RegisterUserDevice)

    I have to click Shut Down Anyway.

    Don't know if this is a "feature" of the last update, but have seen the shutdown bug posted for older O/S..

    What is the fix?
