    Backlit keyboard only turns on during startup?


    The backlit keyboard is pretty important to me, since I work a lot at night. It doesn't work when i press Fn+f4 or Fn+f3 or Fn+space, like I've seen tutorials for. I've dug around the settings and I can't find anything either; there's no options in the control panel, no app that comes with my laptop to set up the backlit keyboard. I'm not sure what to do. Any ideas?

    Hello sur

    If your notebook computer has a backlit keyboard, there is a special key on the keyboard to turn the light on and off. Use the backlight in dim lighting situations.

    To turn the keyboard backlight on or off, press the F5 key. If the backlight icon is not on the F5 key, look for the backlit keyboard key on the row of function keys. It might be necessary to press the fn (function) key at the same time to activate the backlight
