Windows 10: Backup failure error code 0x8007045D

To whom it may concern,


For the past two or three weeks, my Windows 10 back up, using Backup and Restore Windows 7, has failed to backup. After clicking "Options" for troubleshooting, the following message would appear under "Check your backup":


The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.


After clicking "Show Details", it says the following:


Backup time 4/10/2021 6:50 PM

Backup Location: Seagate Backup Plus Hub L:

Error code: 0x8007045D


How can I get it to work again?

Error code 0x8007045D when installing windows 10

@Ztruker yes i followed all the steps to the letter. i had gotten to step 15 (the installation of windows) where i had gotten error code 0x8007045D (the same error code as before) specifically it appears around 25-40% of the "getting files ready for installation" stage

I just starting getting the following: error code: 0x8007045D when I try and move a folder from one drive to another.

I can only find 3rd party programs that claim they work but they all come from sites I've never heard of before or are answers from years ago.

Anyone have any suggestions?
