Windows 10: Backup/Sync to Usb external drive without Logging In

Good day, This i my first post on this forum, hope i make a good job.

I have a very simple network setup made up of three PCs running windows 10.

One could be caller "Server" and the other two are "Drone1" and "Drone2"

The drone PC's have a software that references to a shared folder on the Server and basically work of the information on that folder the entire day.

Currently, the Server is turned on at the beginning of the day and shut down at the end of the day (Local account never logs in)

The information on this shared folder is important so i would like to attach a USB External Hard drive to the Server PC to either Sync or Backup the contents of the shared folder on a daily basis. How can i have this happen without having to Direct Boot into the system (ie. no password protection).

Unable to sign in to Google Backup and Sync

Hello,
I am having trouble logging in Google Backup and Sync on one particular Windows 10 PC in my house.
It started around the April updates.
All my other PCs could log in to Backup and Sync without problem, but my main PC cannot.
I tried many methods (registry cleanup, firewall, antivirus, etc.) and even using the ISO to reinstall Windows 10 (still keeping my apps and files) but I still get an "Error Something went wrong. Your account might not have been added" message when I tried to log in on the first step for Backup and Sync after reinstalling the software. When tried to log in with a browser, after all the steps the browser got stuck on a blank page without anyway to proceed.
I sought support from the Google Drive forum, but the suggestions they gave still did not solve my problem, and then they just gave up. I wonder if anyone here could help me?

Converting an internal hard drive to an external backup

IDE can do 133MB/s



if he can find USB 3.0, go for it. i suggest a new drive + enclosure in one, just because it will be faster and more reliable. the 100GB drive can always be installed as an INTERNAL backup drive in the new machine anyway.

 

what sync backup program is good for windows 10? do I need an external drive?

Start -> Settings -> Update and Security -> Backup

You can select which folder to backup, how long to keep copies, and select a destination. An external drive would make this much easier and safer. Flash drives aren't exactly durable. It won't sync the way to want, I don't have any experience with any software that can do that.
