    Bad performance in browsers


    Hello, i am currently experiencing some performance issues in search engines such as edge, chrome, and firefox, when i move the tabs around, they seem to be happening at a clunky framerate, which can make work harder to do. i believe it could be a driver or firmware issue. possibly hardware too. my specs,

    Amd fx 8320 8 core

    Gigabyte gtx 1050 ti

    600 watt supply

    asus m5a97 le r2.0

    dual channel 577mhz 8gb RAM

    its worth mentioning that i've experienced none of these issues when i had a 750 ti. my driver version is 460.89. any help would be much appreciated.

    If you're having issues with setting a default browser, it can be due to some changes in the configuration settings. To assist you with your concern, we recommend that you set your preferred browser as the default by following the steps listed below:

    • Type Settings in the Search bar and press
      Enter
      .
    • Choose System then click on Default apps.
    • Scroll down, and click Set defaults by app option.
    • Click on your preferred browser, then click Choose defaults for this program.
    • Click Select all, then Save.

    Error: "Internet Explorer is not responding" and "Website not responding" while accessing the browser on Windows 10

    Hi,

    Thank you for your response and information.

    As Windows 10 as Microsoft Edge in-built browser, I suggest you to try that browser and check if this issue persists.

    For the issues with Internet Explorer try the below and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to run the Internet Explorer Performance troubleshooter.

    • Press Windows key, type troubleshooting
      and select it.
    • Click on View all in the left pane.
    • Click onInternet Explorer Performance and follow the onscreen instructions.

    Step 2: I suggest you to turn off and on Internet Explorer and check if it helps.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Press Windows + R, type Control Panel
      and hit Enter.
    • Click on Programs and Features.
    • Click on Turn Windows features on or off from the left pane.
    • Uncheck Internet Explorer, click on Ok.
    • Restart the computer and repeat the same as above to place a check mark on Internet Explorer.
