    bad_module_info not on installed games dependend - possible fix


    Hi everyone,


    we enocuntered several "bad_module_info stopped working" messages after upgrading our clients to Windows 1809. We do not have any games installed. All topics which i found were somehow related to game crashes.

    The fix was to deactivate the "Game Mode". This can be fixed systemwide via GPO. I couldnt find a similar solution for this, so maybe others can help it.

    I also have 3 copes of dayz and this happens to all 3 copies. and PUBG. Only two games I've tried it on. I also have a friend who said this happened to them on rust

    how to fix bad_module_info

    1.) Windows apps troubleshooter states it only helps apps from the appstore.

    2.) If you haven't noticed the ENTIRE ONLINE GAMING COMMUNITY is having problems with this BAD_MODULE_INFO error.

    3.) This is 100% Microsoft's fault.

    4.) So FIX IT!
