Discus and support Battery and Location Icon in Notification Area missing - Win 10 Pro. in Windows 10 Support to solve the problem; that may sound like an obvious answer but i have had the same problem and i did something so easy which fixed it. i just restarted the Windows Explorer...     that may sound like an obvious answer but i have had the same problem and i did something so easy which fixed it. i just restarted the Windows Explorer process in task manager. that's all

    Thank you very much for your help. However, this only worked for me until I restarted my laptop... any suggestions on how to permanently solve the issue?

    Just open task manager, find "Windows Explorer" -> right click and end task. Then run new task and type explorer.exe to open it again. Amazingly your icons appear again *Smile)). Just tell me if this help you.

    Thank you. I'm good now - most of the time I put the laptop to sleep in which case I still have the battery icon when I start up again. When I do have to restart, I just follow the "disable and enable" suggestion and I'm back on track.
