Windows 10: battery percentage not changing.

i am facing a problem with my battery, battery percentage showing 99%, if i am use my laptop the percentage is not changing remain constant after use. after it need to reduce the battery percentage but no rsponse and also the laptop shutdown automatically and after charging the battery percentage not changing. please guide me...

Battery Percentage

I have two HP laptops. Both running Win 10 22H2 with latest updates. One shows "percentage charge" and the other "minuites to full charge" when hovering over the taskbar battery icon with laptops plugged in. Seems like they should show the same. I checked out the suggestions, but no luck.
