Windows 10: Battery percentage won't change on new laptop.

Hello everyone! I recently bought a HP Omen 16.1" laptop with an Intel Core i7-11800H and RTX 3060 16-b0013dx. Everything has worked great so far on Windows 11 except for one thing: the battery percentage. For some reason, it never changes. When I first got the laptop, it was on 35% and I noticed that after using it for 30 minutes, it was still at 35%. Then it suddenly died out of the blue because I didn't know that it was actually on 1%. When I plugged in the charger and started the laptop again, the percentage reset to 1% and I let it charge up to 80% before unplugging it. After using the

Battery Indicator Percentage not changing

My Laptop Battery Gauge charge indicator percentage is not changing it always stuck at certain percentage.if I connect power adapter or remove power adapter then only my laptop battery changes automatically to certain value otherwise it gets stuck at same
level of percentage for whole time even i use laptop for whole hour. I have tried to disable and enable battery driver but it is not helping me at all to solve the problem.

I can see that plugging your laptop doesn't increase the percentage charged on the

battery.

Just to clarify, does charging stops at certain percentage or totally not charging the battery?

There's also a possibility the the power consumption is too much for it to actually charge the battery, try keeping your laptop idle for 10-15 mins and see if there's a progress in the battery.

If it stops charging on a certain percentage, try doing the steps below:

1. Right-click on the battery icon.

2. Select Power Options.

3. Click on Change plan settings.

4. Click on Change advanced power settings.

5. Click Restore plan defaults.

6. Then hit OK.

Check as well if there is an installed utility from the manufacturer that may limit the charging capacity of your laptop. This are common to new laptops to extend the life of it's battery.

New HP laptop. Can't view battery life in time, only percentage.

Notifications could vary between models of devices. By default, battery details of laptops only show the percentage when hovering the mouse on the battery icon. Some laptops depending on their features can show other details such as time left of usage.
