Windows 10: batterybar deleted my desktop data

Hello,


I am using a Dell Inspirion 3542 on Windows 10. I downloaded this battery manager called BatteryBar Pro, which I mistakenly downloaded onto my desktop. I promptly clicked uninstall so I could redownload it to the right folder, and it ended up deleting and uninstalling my entire desktop. All it shows is recycling bin, and recycle bin even doesnot contain my programs and folders that were on the desktop. so the desktop is all empty. Can someone please help me to restore my data? If you can please help!

Yesterday I shift deleted some of the data from my desktop from my 256GB SSD.
I need to recover them,

Please suggest my the best software to recover it.

windows 10 deleted my desktop files

Step 1 - I upgraded to Win 10 and lost all my files on Desktop.

Step 2 - Found the files in Network - USers- Desktop

copied all files again to desktop.

Step 3- Restarted my machine again and lost desktop files again.

Step 4 - As suggested did the following as listed below but dont find my files.

• Press “Windows + E”, open This PC/Computer
• Open Local Disc C, open Windows.old
• Click on Users, select your User name
• Go to desktop folder

Cant find my files. Why is Win 10 deleted files again and again from Desktop ?.

There's a few tools to recover the data after the fact but I have never seen them work so I'm not going to recommend it for you. You need a backup solution of some type. Either invest in a disk imager, or snapshot software like Rollback Rx.
