Windows 10: Beats Solo3 Wireless problem

Hello,


I have a brand new pair of Beats Solo3 wireless headphones. I am able to connect them to my laptop via Bluetooth, but my computer still shows that the sound is coming from the laptop speakers. In addition, when I go to 'manage audio devices' on the control panel, it shows that my headphones aren't connected, in contrast with what setting says. Is there any way to remedy this?

• I reset the beats headphones, reset my bluetooth on my pc, updated software on beats solo3, deleted and re-added the beats on my pc
• Microsoft Surface Laptop, Intel Core I7, 16gb Ram, 1TB Storage
• No error messages, just disconnections and reconnections.

Yes, you may need to install the latest drivers if there are any latest updates available for wireless beats headphones/any other hardware device to work effectively.

Note: If the wireless beats headphones is not compatible to work with Windows 10, then the headphone may not work normally/as excepted.

Bluetooth headphone gets disconnected automatically

Thank you for replying.

As you are facing issues in connecting any Bluetooth devices to the computer, I suggest you to try removing the Bluetooth drivers completely from the computer and installing it from the manufacturer’s website. Please follow the steps mentioned below:

1. Press and hold the Windows + X key on the keyboard.
   
2. Select Device manager.
   
3. In Device manager, expand Bluetooth.
   
4. Right click on Bluetooth driver and select
   uninstall.
   
5. You will receive a prompt; make sure you check the box for
   Delete the driver software to remove the driver software from the computer.
   
6. After uninstalling the driver, download the drivers from
   
   https://www.asus.com/us/Motherboards/ROG-Zenith-Extreme-Alpha/HelpDesk_Download/ and install them.
   

I also suggest you to update the firmware of the Beats headphone once. Please refer the article
