    Been getting BSODs since newer windows updates


    Since those updates my PC has been getting BSODs randomly sometimes a few a day sometimes a week goes by and random error source codes. My PC was running perfectly before these updates. I can post the crash dumps if needed.

    Windows Update (BSOD)

    Hi Guys.
    I have Built a Machine for Crunching a few days ago and I have some issues with Windows Update.

    I have installed all Windows Updates but there are around 9 left without been installed becasue everytime i try to install it the Machine Crash and I get a BSOD, can someone tell me what could be causing that Windows Updates makes a Machine crash and get BSOD?

    That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

    At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

    The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

    Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
