    Beeping sound from keyboard?


    This isn’t something that messes with my computer, but it is something I’m curious about.


    Whenever I’m typing on my keyboard and press the “m” key, my computer makes a random beep sound. I’m not sure why this happens and it’s been happening since I got the computer.


    I just want an idea of what this is and if I can maybe turn it off?

    In line with this, can you follow these steps on how to turn off the system beep sounds in Windows 10 and observe if the issue persists? Here are the steps:

    • Right-click the Start icon, then select Control Panel.
    • Choose the Large icons option from the View by drop down list found on the upper-right part of the Control Panel window.
    • Locate and choose Sound.
    • Go to the Sounds tab when the Sound wizard pops out.
    • Locate and click Default Beep.
    • Choose None from the Sounds drop-down list.
    • Click Apply, then OK.

    Let us know if the issue persists after following the steps above.

    Beeping sound from keyboard?

    Computer is frozen, won't accept input from keyboard or mouse

    In the computer hope link for RAM it suggested removing all RAM modules.
    Then power on the computer without RAM modules and listen to the beeps.
    Indicate whether they do or do not match the beep sounds in your video.

    Please complete all of the POST troubleshooting steps so that can be ruled in / ruled out.
