    Indeed, there are many factors, I have a browser with caches and temps in RAMdisk (faster than SSD). I block trackers, but not ADs, blocking ADs can slow down opening webpages, just like a big HOSTS file.

    Chrome is the only browser that will remember my preference for the 'Old YouTube' no matter what YT link I click on...

    all other browsers default back to the 'New YouTube', which is glitchy as heck...

    The problem I have with Chrome is that it leaves processes on your PC long after it is closed. Firefox uses multi processes as well but when you close Firefox the processes close with it.

    No, I installed Chrome the same way I installed Firefox. I removed Chrome after about 20 minutes using REVO. I sometimes use Slimjet which is Chromium Based and it does not leave anything behind and is quite stable.

    If you disable background process option, it'l close all Chrome processes from running.
